Do you have their contact details - that would help me as I live abroad. Thanks

Sorry, I'm out of the country, too.

I think we use an independent agent who then uses AIA.

Have a look on the Phuket Gazette web-site. They have a Yellow Pages directory with all sorts of business services.

I am with Allianz. Just sent you a PM with contact information.

For good coverage it does seem to work out to about 10K per 10 million insured. I've made a couple of claims and they have paid every time. We use QBC ( think that's the name of it) via our AIA insurance guy.

Just an interesting point; your insurance premium is less if you live in a detached house.

Less likelihood of a fire spreading to your house from a nearby property.

Maybe I have a lousy policy , but when reading all the small print some years back i found alot of exclusions which I was informed are pretty standard for Thailand.

Interested to know differences in coverage as mine up for renewel. I am with ayudhya insurance. Maybe time to look at the bigger company's , if they have any money left to pay out that is...

I use an insurance broker for all my subjects, he knows all the pros and cons about all insurances in Thailand, information you never get from insurance agents or the insurance company.

If you get a chance do you think you could either post or PM your insurance brokers details for me. I'm looking for someone good in this field and wouldnt mind speaking to somebody that knows his stuff.

Thanks in advance.

Eric Dohlan is very knowledgeable & has a full broker's licence. I think he is listed under E & I Insurance Broker in the PG guide.

Thanks Valentine, I dunno what the PG guide is? I will attempt to look him up online.

Apologies for the hijack - There seems little point in starting a new thread.

How about in Bangkok ?

Does anyone have the name / contact of a reliable insurance broker ?

> For a Condo and its belongings.... (TVs,, Washing machines, clothes, jewelry etc)
