My family of 5 have booked tickets to Phuket via AirAsia but have not yet booked hotels.

I should have finished my message. We have just returned from a 1-2 star hotel in Mui Ne Beach, VN, which was (~15 USD/n) and right on the beach but I got what I paid for. Thinking we should stay at at least a3 or more star when we visit Phuket area. What are your thoughts? Also, if we will be dividing our 11 day stay up into different locations, what are your suggestions? Thanks
