Last Will And Testament Advice

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am about to receive my retirement visa and have been wondering about making a will in the Kingdom. I have one in my home country but as all my assets (ha!) are here, and the beneficiary as well, any advice on making a last will and testament would be appreciated.

you just need a good lawyer and supply the paperwork they ask. simple. one word of advice. don't tell the people you are leaving money to that they are in your will, you just never know. I have several people in my will including Thais but they will never find out till I am dead, something I will avoid for a while by not telling :)

Whether or not you have a will or beneficiaries of a life insurance policy here in Thailand, and whether they know they are beneficiaries or not, as an unhappy few unfortunately found out or NEVER had the chance to find out before it was too late, make sure to your Thai family and Thai acquaintances that you are worth far more alive than dead.
