Neole Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I have a flight from bankok to china by airasia. I will be arriving to bangkok by another flight. Do I have to go through immigration/visa or does air asia have a checkin counter at transit?
londonthai Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 budget airlines don't transfer, so you will have to go through emmigration
uptheos Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Air Asia is strictly a point to point carrier, you will definately have to clear customs and check in again. You can't even put your bags all the way through. I hope you've left plenty of time between flights, because if Air Asia is late there is no compensation - if you miss your connection that's it!
Neole Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 Thanks for the info. In that case I will take a one day halt in bangkok.
