Video Out From Computer

I have a computer in my bedroom and an old CRT TV. My computer doesn't have a Super S or RCA video out and I would like to watch downloaded movies on my tv. I went to Pantip the other day and the only solution seems to be to replace the video card with another one for about 1500 baht.

Is there a cheaper solution? Anyone know of a cheap video card that has RCA or Super S out? I don't really care about quality and I'm not playing games on the computer.

In Pantip Plaza did you check the small shops toward the back on the floors above ground floor? Many of them have 2d hand parts for sale and should be some of those video cards. Make sure it is a card that fits your computer (PCI or AGP plug connection), and get the make and model number because will need that to get the drivers for the card.

Another option would be to get a cheap digital to analog coverter. It's about $20 in the US....usb out of the computer into the converter and rca from the converter to the tv. That's how I watch stuff I view on the internet (like anime)

Why don't you just burn your downloaded movies on a blank DVD and buy an El Cheapo DVD player?

Oops, yeah, I already have the DVD with usb port. What I want to do is watch streaming video from the computer on the tv. I went looking for something like a usb to rca output converter but couldn't find one. Anyone ever see anything like that here?
