also travelling time in between ranong and said airport as im hoping to make the early morning boat from ko phayam and the somehow hoping to make in back to bangkok in plenty ofime to go outand celebarte new yaers eve.

only option is the 1.46 train from chumphon arriving bnkok 7.45 pm but im not sure how realiable this train is or how reliab;e the SRT timetable is as it hasnt been updatyed for nearly 18 th months.

anyone got any reliable up to date baot/bus/train/plane links please?

Not sure about Nakhon Sri, I think Phuket is nearer, but nearest seems to be Surat Thani. The road from/to Phuket should be better and there are more flight available.

Phuket to Ranong 117 Kilos. Thai and AirAsia.

but im no longer going ranong/ko phayam,saving that for my april trip when i havea bit more time to get about.

ive decided to go fly to phuket then head to one of the nicest/quietest islands in that area around krabi etc...possibly koh jum?

Rannong is a nice place to go then come away , I have stayed there many times at my Thai friends place. If you want to see the real Thailand thats the place .
