My friend wants to learn but doesnt know where. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. :o

There is a shop selling pianos in Sukhumvit Soi 23 (closer to soi 31, actually) on the green route), opposite the 7-11 (not the one near Soi Cowboy). Close to Siam Seafood. They may give leassons, or would certainly know of someone who does.

There's a big music school also on Suk Soi 39, just after the second set of traffic lights.

No idea about pricing though. Looks a tad expensive.

Could your friend post a review of the school he/she chooses? Thinking about taking a few "refresher" lessons myself - Hardly had the chance to practice since I moved here.

I learnt the basics in about 3 months at the Yamaha academy in the Emporium building (i think its the 9th floor); great infrastructure, good instructors. I think the charge is ~ THB 4000 for a 3 month period, with 30 minute 'once per week' lessons.

The great thing about Yamaha is you can practice whenever you want; other schools have a limitation on practice sessions,

Enjoy your chords ;-)

cheers,
