Hdtv In Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

I bought a 29" Sony Wega HDTV, and while its great for playing games and watching DVDs through Xbox's Media Center 1080i upscaller, I would love to be able to watch some real HD content.

Anyone know how I could go about doing that? (satellite dish, computer, etc...)

UBC isnt gonna cut it.

Yeah, UBC has about the definition of a 25 baht karaoke VCD. :--)

I suppose you could get a HD video camera and shoot your own stuff. :o Other than that, I'd say you're ahead of everyone else.

What's the resolution by the way of your TV? Should be nice as a computer monitor as well for media oriented applications... consider a PC with Windows Media Center installed?

Cheers,

Chanchao

Does High Definition mean more pixels? Or does it mean greater hertz ie:100Htz compared with the normal 50Htz, or is it a combination of both?? :o

try the HDTV clinic on Suthep road. The service is completely confidential and relatively painless. ahem

And dont but a big screen Plasma it doesnt work well either with UBC the picture changes sizes every few minutes

but works great with Dvd's
