Hi,

I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 with a Rogers Wireless plan in Canada. Coming to Thailand in March and want to know where to unlock? Also approximate prices if anyone knows and is this fairly safe?(ie will all be ok when I return to Canada and plug in my Rogers sim card again)

Did a search but couldnt find much info on the BB's. Thanks in advance.

It is very simple. Buy an unlock code off eBay for less than US$3.00. You provide the seller with your IMEI number and the carrier your phone is locked to. Within a few hours they respond with the unique unlock code for your device. After you enter the code on the sim screen, your BB is unlocked forever. Yes you will be able to use your BB in Thailand and it will still work in Canada with your Roger's sim card.
