End Of Fee Exemptions For Visa On Arrival?

According to different sites online, the free visa on arrival ended 4 March 2010... is this correct?

My Chinese GF will arrive next week at BKK airport...does she need to bring Baht 1000 in cash with her?

Is the free visa on arrival now finished?

Does she still need 2 photos?
