hellosweetie Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Hello all. I'm a Thai student who will be starting graduate school in US and I'm looking for tutors in the following subjects: Public Policy, Public Administration and Management, International Development, Micro and Macro Economics. Preferably a MA/PhD with teaching experience. If interested, please send your CV and hourly rate to: (email edited out) Thanks a lot! Ivy
Scott Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I have edited out the email address. Please use the PM function to contact the OP. If you have any trouble let me or another mod know. Best of luck to you in your future studies.
hellosweetie Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 Oh I'm sorry about that Scott. Yes, PM will work just fine! Have a great day
Mario2008 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Might help if you tell if you are looking for tutors in the US or in Thailand for preparation for your study in the US.
paully Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Hope you're prepared to pay well, hellosweetie, good tutors won't be cheap. Good luck.
hellosweetie Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 @Mario2008: Sorry I didn't make it clear. Yes, I do want tutors in "Bangkok" because that's where I'm at right now. @paully: I totally understand that issue and I'm able to pay decently. The problem is, I still haven't found one..
Scott Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Currently the teaching site is getting a fair amount of traffic so you may have some luck. Hopefully, some of our posters with some experience in any of these areas can send you a PM.
paully Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Just a thought, hellosweetie, but you may wish to put some notices/ flyers in to universities that have international programmes which teach these sorts of subjects and reach potential tutors that way: try Chula (Sasin), NIDA, IIS at Ramkhamhaeng, Bangkok Univ, ABAC.
hellosweetie Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 Thanks paully! That sounds like a good idea since I haven't gotten any response.
