This is where I will be.

A little late I know, but my days of all night partying and work next day are behind me :)

Have a great day.

I will be going down to our local Irish pub in Geneva with lots of friends and a good band which play a bit of Dubliners and Van the Man.

Bah!! Exiles!

Used to beat 'em regularly back at the start of the sixties - when they were really London Irish.

Now they've absorbed all the other expatriate clubs and brought in outsiders (as have all clubs) it ain't what it was at all, at all.

As the only American you will ever know who does not claim Irish American descent, Happy St Paddys day to all those who do. :)

hey...I'm bolivian-irish, does that count?

my two best friends when I lived in the UK were two old irish guys; my father-in-law and the mother-in-law's brother, may they both rest in peace...

uncle Pad was a farmer and a water diviner...he demonstrated his skill once and it scared hel_l outta me much to the amusement of my ex and the MiL, that an' wild stories about the fairies that would come out an' dance at night; couldn't see 'em but you knew that they were there...always brought of bottles of poteen when he came to visit...

Im boycotting the Irish these days

(was looking forward to St Paddy's up until not too long ago.....oh well - not that I missed much I suppose. same drunks, just different coloured tshirts :))

sorry no disrespect to any Irish on here (or anywhere really). Im just a bit of a spoilt sport

happy St Paddy's to you all.

I am quite partial to Van the Man. Good choice.

Ohhhh, Mig, my heart goes out to you....are you still grumpy? I wish you weren't. If I catch a leprachaun, I'll wish you get what you want.
