Shipping Supplements To Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Looking for suggestions for an online company that ships supplements and vitamins to chiang mai. Preferably a quality brand with a good range and with reasonable shipping prices.

Do these things usually get slapped with duties?? If so how much or is there a way around them?

Thx

Try www.healthspan.co.uk.

I write the following assuming you are not from the UK. Also I look at it from a consumer's point of view, not as a business.

They are based in Guernsey in the English Channel Islands and I've been using them for at least 10 years. They do all round supplements. I use the multivitamins as well as one of the Glucosamine products, which helps with my permanent knee injury - I snapped my Anterior Cruciate Ligament. I was recommended the company by friends having all sorts of injuries and ailments - also by the specialist at the Droitwich Knee Clinic(Near Birmingham, England - considered to the be the top rated knee specialists in the UK). I find the prices are good too.

I did and still keep checking companies and find they have the best sourced ingredients.

Shipping Costs - If you were living in UK it would be free. For overseas they charge 4 GB Pounds total (probably around 6 USD or 200 Baht), no matter what size the order - though I wouldn't know what they would do if you ordered a container load - lol. So I tend to order once a year, usually when they announce a sale in December/January. The shelf life is good so no worries on that score. The customs/address label clearly states that they are supplements and I don't pay customs duty on them. I usually receive the order within 7-10 calendar days.

They do a magazine with articles by some well known doctors and specialists, which you can subscribe to by email.

And lastly, I am in no way connected with this company, I just like the products and find them reliable and good prices.

I use ebay all the time for supplements and have never had any problems with customs. Shippers are normally very discrete.

Thanks guys. Ebay might be a bit hit and miss for a newbie like me - Wentworth thanks for the good writeup, I will check them out. Good to know there's no customs issues.

Good to know there's no customs issues.

don't bank on that

customs duties are uncertain. confiscation of items not approved by the Thai government is a possibility and many items are not approved. might come through okay or you might loose or pay.
