Windows 7

Featured Replies

There may be others like myself who are not happy with the Windows 7 Startup lists where every program is in a continuous list. If you have dozens of programs installed, as I do, it is annoying to scroll through them to find the one you want. I found a nice program that gives you the same Startup menu function as XP did where you can drag and drop to organize the programs. I have always had it organized into categories such as Graphics, Multimedia, Network, Utilities, etc as I find it quicker to locate what I want.

Below is the program and works well. Also gives you the option to have Classic Explorer as Windows 7 is missing a few convenience features.

Classic Shell

Thanks for Classic Shell. It is a better menu for sure. It works great.

With the ability to pin programs to the Superbar (aka: taskbar), I rarely use the Windows 7 Start menu for anything except quick searches.

Great find nevertheless... Thanks for posting this.

Yes pinning to the task bar works really well.
