What Happened To The Forum Layout?

Featured Replies

All I get now is "the webpage cannot be found"

and a really awful layout below.

Is this the "new" layout, or is it a glitch?

I hope the latter, as I really hate it.

For the last few weeks I've been encountering this as well. It seems the servers are hiccuping, causing the .CSS to not load. When that happens, the site gets ugly.

Just do a full refresh a few times.

Yeah I get it too. And I can't go back to the last page either it don't work. Have to keep returning to the forum page. :)

Lots of red xxxxx

I get it totally screwed up in Chrome, IE diplays the pages ok but no ads :)

I was guessing that there were too many viewers and so the site was overloaded as it can sometimes last for an hour or more. Is this possible? :)

This is caused by ISP caching and other ISP issues. Please delete your cache (temp. internet files) and restart your browser. When you are on the page that you want to refresh, do a Ctrl+F5

We are using approx 25% of our server and bandwidth capacity, and the servers are sending out correct content.

Done all that, only happens on TV so how can it be my ISP?

Have the same problems, today 31/3 it is can be used only with dificulty a lot of info is blanked out or has an "X".

Running IE8, no problems with other websites, just Thaivisa.

I have got the same problems, all sorts of gremlins and the most annoying is I can’t page back

I am back to normal again, hmm, ThaiVisa that is..

Resetting your browser does squat for ISP caching problems. Its the ISP that needs to flush its cache and reload TV content. I had the same problem last night for about an hour. Ain't nothing you can do about it except wait.

I'm guessing we're all customers of the wonderful 'TrueMove' service. :)

I have also done everything above and its a complete mess .

I have never seen any problem using MS IE. I guess there is something to say for free, you get what you pay

And I've not seen any problems with Firefox at my home (DTAC Edge) or University computer. Suspect a problem with ISP caching of the css files.

Have the same problems, yesterday 30/3 and today 31/3 Thai Visa can be viewed with dificulty a lot of info is blanked out or has an "X".

There does not appear to be any formatting to the page. It just appears as a white screen with writing and a lot of error messages, like these:

The requested URL /promotions/banners/marketing/leaderboard.html was not found on this server.

Running firefox 3.6.2, no problems with any other websites, just Thaivisa.

Have emptied cache and reloaded page a heap of times with no improvement.

Members who are having this problem please post which ISP you are using to see if there is a common denominator. Also, if posting from within Thailand or outside as Thaivisa uses load balancing servers.

Im in the US on Road Runner ....same problems everyone else has.

Posted in another thread a couple of pics.

We have now changed name of the .css file and are pushing the new version to all users. Hope this helps!

ISP is Telstra Bigpond.

Gold Coast, Australia.

Using TRUE in BKK but all fine now ... seemed to just be about an hour yesterday when this issue was going on.

Same problem with all three browsers. Cleared the cache and even all the cookies.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Maybe you should have a word with your 'engineers', george.

Something happened. It is now working properly on Safari, Chrome and my default browser Pale Moon. (Firefox).
