Perhaps its because I have to read so much of it its made me a tad jaded.

Ohhh thats what happened to you, I had wondered. Can you imagine how jaded some of those poor people are that are paid to deal with some of these real life dramas (& worse) in real time/first hand .

After reading the OP, I had to do a quick re-think of all my personal threads, such as, "Theres a hole in my leg", "The baby is spinning" and "What did I ever do to you".

Oh no, neverdie, your threads are always of the greatest import, with life or death situations that enthrall the masses.

Would I pour out priceless details about my personal life on TV ? Only as a last resort (ie. the guys at the bar are sick of hearing about it).

BTW, did I ever mention the time I was trapped in a Manila hotel room with 4 dancers from Pegasus......
