I'm looking for a smartphone with optimal voice-guided GPS capability for use in Bangkok (and to a lesser extent the provinces). Any recommendations for app and smartphone?

Most of the recent Nokia smartphones will have GPS installed. The Nokia online Ovi shop has excellent free maps that work with the GPS.

I use Garmin which is loaded onto my Samsung smartphone - works very well

I'm using Navigon Thailand and Sygic SEAsia edition on my iphone. Both give voice guidance.

Internet service by "Smart Zone" is total rubbish. I have been told by many residents of Union Tower Apartments they are not allowed to use any internet service but this one. And it SUCKS. Is this yet another example of corruption/greed/ No Democracy in Land of Scams?

Boy oh boy. Is there anything that can be done other than moving to another apartment building? The manager seems to be "very much in favor" LOL - wonder why :-) of this monopoly even though is practically worthless.

Is anyone using a voice GPS on an Android phone? I've got my eye on some of the HTCs. I have heard that the GPS is slow and inaccurate. Any truth to this?
