you might have gathered tom , whether or not we agree with your beliefs , we do have some respect for you

Wait a sec' - don't put words in my mouth.

my apologies if I misinterpreted your comment. My understanding of it was that you believed he was a man with experience of the aformentioned issues who passed truthful comments on them.

of his comments I have read , I respect him for not falling into the trap of flame wars over some of the replies he recieves to his beliefs - but age is supposed to hopefully bring with it wisdom - maybe I will know for sure in about 40 years time... :D:D:o:D

Wether I agree with someone or not its nice to see someone say this is me, this is what I am, agree or not up to you. Well done TM .... if any one wants to know what i'm like just look at my blog

Exactly right RC.

As Popeye says: "I Yam What I Yam" :D

What has Yams got to do with this? Can't stand 'em myself. Specially the purple ones. :o

No, my point was that he knows about such constructive things, but chooses to remain silent on them.

Anyway, enough already, else he'll just come back with a typically facetious response.

Just wondering when you were going to answer the question put to you?

We can all see, more than adequately demonstrated, your obsession with TM and the ease in which you feel you are qualified to judge his every move. Also we see, time and time again, your apparent inability to distinguish between flaming and argument.

You seem to feel no restraints in telling TM how he should perform on Thaivisa; what areas of his knowledge he should be making available to others on this forum.

So please, don’t let us begin to feel you are suddenly gripped by some misguided apprehension about your own abilities.

I beg of you, enlighten us with those areas of education and experience that appoint in you the authority to be the judge of a fellow scribbler read by the ex-pats of Thaivisa.

Or do we just file you with all the other frustrated flamers, click on “Ignore User” and let you piss in the wind.

ํYou want to make your topic about me???! (How uncharacteristic! )

Well, I posted on here 30 minutes after the 12/26 quake - long before the tsunami.

and posted on here while the 28/3 tremors were still going on.

Could have been useful for people. (Helps living in a tall building)

...and got Candyflip's formidable piece published on the BBC, Washington Post and United Press.

click on “Ignore User”

Excellent idea. I've done this for you. End of discussion.

I would never admit defeat and click on ' Ignore User' to anyone.Partly because I think even bad apples make cider, and I wouldn't likethem talking behind my back.

I wish I could get cider in Thailand. Make a change from fizzy beer.

No TM's right, its best I've put him on my IU list. We seem to upset each other.

Thomas can join Toastwars in there

I havn't seen Toastwars since he flamed me about a month ago :o

I respect him for not falling into the trap of flame wars

he doesnt have to fall into them....he starts enough of them....I entered into a recent discussion with him and before long I was getting insulted for having a differing point of view.

I wish he had never posted them. EEEeeeeaaaa! Still get nightmares. :D:D:D

It's promising that "Bedlam" is living up to it's title finally.... LOL

Kinda miss that ragamuffin Toastwars and his 50 daily posts, too. Hope he didn't get carpal tunnel syndrome or something...

This is Bedlam. When one bites the dust; two take his/her place :o

Either that or' You are the daftest link. Goodbye'

If one checks any typical old thread, one could also use the line from "The Apprentice"... "You're fired" (in reference to the number of Banned one can see from the typical old thread.... (I've stumbled upon a few short-ish threads where EVERY poster is now banned)... LOL

front rowers, don't know about Thomas but the rest of the pack would have to be 4 foot tall for Lampy :o

You can't insult me like that old mate...............Betty was smaller than me :D

I was slightly bent over at the party, suffering from severe cramps caused by a painful bowel movement I was holding back, too shy to use the toilet with all these people around. I normally stand at 6 feet 11 inches.

Not at all - its great - you get a nice polite little message saying that you've ignored this poster and do you wish to stop ignoring him.

"...um...no !"

That's what he's seeing right now. Thats what I see with his.

He finds me badgering, irritating, annoying and a complete pain is the rear (True)

I find him flippant, facetious in every reply, constantly trying to curry favour with the Moderators, trying to get people kicked out of Thaivisa in a schoolyard telltale way, nitpicking rules incorrectly - eg us not being allowed to debate what would happen if Thaksin left office ....by somehow linking this to rules about the Royal Family.

And he doesn't help members with enquiries, though he must know a ton of stuff about Thailand.

... some of his ballsy essays I quite liked, albeit written in a sub O level style that suggests he's a teacher.

Life's too short - its just too short.......

I normally stand at 46 feet 11 inches. :o

Well you got me beat.

large.jpg

:D

I’ve only got 4 feet plus a big one to boot……neck that is. :D

Well, I posted on here 30 minutes after the 12/26 quake - long before the tsunami.

Yes and thank you. I did read it.

Wife O.K. Btw ? and the little one which was on the way. ?

Once again thank you for that post.

At least you did your duty on ThaiVisaDotCom, Sir. Well done.

R.I.P to all in that tsunami. :o

Little One arrived 9 hours after the quake on 28/3. We couldn't evacuate - wife was wheelbarrow-sized.

I live on 34th floor, so the building acts as a amplifier for shock waves.

The BBC wanted a piece on the second quake too, after the success of the Candyflip/Thaivisa piece, but I was in hospital and not near to a computer for a few days.
