Many fire trucks and ambulances

i don't know what's happenned but i see many people injured, some with broken legs.

So i think you can see that on thai news, many cameramen from TV...

I read in the paper where earthquake drills were planned. Not sure if this is the day though.

'Many people injured, broken legs' why, because this seems like a kitchen fire, smoke coming only from one place.

Or has the fire expanded ? Then, why this happened if so many firetrucks present ?

Seeing as there was a podium, speech and gathering of all the emergency services at Tapae Gate after the event, I think we can surmise it was a practice run. :)

They did the same thing at the Montri Hotel a few months ago - even had "fake" smoke.

Had it been a real fire, the emergency response would have been late, choas everywhere and a fire out of control...think recent disco fire or any other thai event..

Here is a little clean smoke (please note color) and a bunch of emergency vehicles on the scene. probably planned for months..

Would like to see someone study Thai training and correlate to real events and see how effective or not...

For a "practice run" this looks pretty scary. Are they trying to frighten away the remaining tourists in Chiang Mai? Perhaps a new way to adjust overbooking at the hotel?

Cheers, CMX
