They love Trump, but many on the right loathe the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal he demanded
So what is it? Is it Trump's deal or is it Biden's deal? It's Biden's deal, proposed long ago. Hezbollah got wrecked in Lebanon and Hamas panicked as they fantasised that Hezbollah could launch a counter-attack against Israel. As someone else put it, they realised that the cavalry wasn't coming. What a lot of fools fail to calculate is that Trump said - you better do a deal before!!! I take office. He wanted a deal under the Biden Presidency. No one is arguing that Trump's clarity wasn't useful. But it's still not his deal as what he demanded - the return of all hostages - is not happening. AFAIC Trump knows this deal is a mess but if 33 hostages are released tomorrow he'll be delighted. And the Israeli right will be drowned out by the celebration. But Trump still has his finger on the trigger. The rest of the hostages better be released rapidly or Hamas will discover that what happened to Hezbollah was only a foretaste of what is to come. -

As @theblether alluded too, how well did the DEI hires go for the residents in the fire affected ares of California go recently? Too much DEI in the fire department and local government. Best man (or woman) should get the job. This is why some corporations are backpeddling on DEI in my opinion. If these DEI hires cannot do the job, then, ultimately, it can affect the whole organisation. Stock prices, dividends, and survival of the business are important. -

PN91 is for income ONLY from employment. and is considerably shorter than the PN90 which is for income from employment AND other sources. Interest and dividends and rental income is all other than employment. Refund of withholding tax is only possible with PN90. Think of the PN91 as sorta kinda like filing the old 1040EZ, which was a simplified version of the more complicated 1040 long-form tax return. No need to declare all ATM and debit card remittances. It comes down to the source of the funds. It's not the ATM withdrawal itself that would be taxed, it's the current year income you're bringing in through the ATM. Are you bringing in enough assessable funds to meet the requirements that you must file? -

Has Elon Musk become an existential threat to humanity?
I didn’t intend for this topic to digress into a debate about Twitter, but personally, I’ve never liked it. I don’t see how it serves any real purpose, and most of what gets posted are just anecdotal sound bites. There’s a lot of misinformation and disinformation from people with personal agendas. So, I’ve never had any time for it, but whatever it started out as has only gotten worse since Musk took over and began using it as a tool to shift his political agenda and attack his enemies. It’s pretty disgusting, if you ask me. In the beginning, he claimed he was buying it to clean up misinformation and promote free speech, but all he’s actually done is the opposite and exacerbated the problem, which seems to have been his true agenda all along. If that’s any indication of what Musk is really about, then watch out.
