This is my first post here so I will introduce myself briefly. My nickname is Walther, I live in Finland and I will start working in Roi Et this summer. I been to Thailand and Roi Et a few times and i really love and respect the people in the country. My hope is to spend most of my time in Thailand, be succesful in my work and maybe meet my future love there.

I been trying to look for classifieds for rental apartments in Roi Et but cannot find them anywhere. If someone has any information or pointers in locating rental houses / apartments in Roi Et I would be most thankful.

I've sent emails to some real estate agencys i found in the internet but i have no background information on the companies and going blind in that sense.

It's more difficult to find an apartment for rent than to find a house in Roi Et.

Also, I am not aware of good quality condo/residences there [Western standards] but I saw many nice looking houses/townhouses.

My suggestion is to get there, stay in a hotel for a couple of nites and look around for houses for rent in the center of town...5000/8000 baht per month will do

There are many Thais and farangs who do not use their home and put it for rent, but it's the kind of info you can find talking to people living there [police/hotels/restaurants]

A house / townhouse will do fine aswell if no apartments available. I was just hoping to arrange things like internet access beforehand because it is really vital for my job.

there are a number of apartments in Roi-Et. Blocks I mean.

Although it has been a couple of years since we were there I am sure things are still the same or even cheaper since the demise of the only direct air link to Roi-Et. PB Air.

Just search Roi-Et in the search box on this web page and it will spit out some of my info on a really good and clean apartment block called Poon Petch, or something like that ( dont want to try and find the card again ). I have their business card on this site somewhere and also the card of White elephant Resturant and bar phone numbers and all.

\White Elephant may be able to give you more info if you phone them. Try google as well.

Roi -Et is a great place but is now a little hard to get to time wise for me with no air service.

Please can someone correct me and tell me that there is a plane that goes there now???
