Also, does anybody know who does concrete polished floors? (As an aside, is it feasible to say, rip out the current wood floor, and then polish the concrete flooring underneath?)

Also, assume the island pictured above: does anybody have any [stylish] ideas as to how to make cupboards in there (not wood).
