So the news updates are to stay away from certain areas..but what if you are already in those areas?

My friend is unsure what to do, particularly when it comes to going home later (around 6pm).

Should i recommend him to try leave now. Or to just wait.

How bad is it really?

most offices that i know around and surrounding Bangkok are closing now. best is to see if the coast is clear and move right now. If the area it is still hot - wait it out.

I would be trying to see if there were any back ways out to Soi Sala Daeng 1 and 2, and the other small sois.

I know there are some big walls in the way but maybe some smart people have worked out how to get a ladder or some ropes in place.

Also best not to wait until dark.

Best to get out before dark at least; wait until the gunfire stops and make a run for it!
