June 16, 200520 yr Author anyone have the number fo burger king delivery? 1112, it's the same number for Pizza Company, Burger King and Swensen's Ice Cream.
June 16, 200520 yr There is also a Japanese place called Kitamond that has good sushi, etc. Tel: 053-204-100. manager named: Assamaporn and speaks good English. Also: McDonald's: 053-818-511-2 We've also used Subway, but more often than not the delivery person is not there...
June 16, 200520 yr Author We still deliver M. Wish I had known, I've had Pizza Company three days within a week... My arteries now consist of prime cheddar with a brave little trickle of blood still trying to run through.
June 16, 200520 yr The fish & chips joint delivers, but the food is terrible, in my experience. Amazing sandwich delivers, too. RUAM MIT BAKERY, 111-13 Chiangmai-Lamphun Rd. Tel. 053 262427-8. Call for home delivery. Cookies, breads, baked goods. Bulk ground coffee. Some restaurants will 'adjust' their delivery policy for 100 baht delivery charge, or a minimum order of , lets say, 500 baht. Bear's Den El Toro Fillmore East Buissiomo (sp?) on Mae Jo road.
June 17, 200520 yr Just give a call. If very busy, might take a while. Otherwise no problems. (No delivery charge but look for min 150 Bt order.)

September 29, 200520 yr Apart from Pizza Company and Burger King, what restaurants or fast food outlets offer home delivery in Chiang Mai? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess right now, many of us are praying that the little lady in the Klong Boat from the floating market will arrive, with all the great makings for noodle soup (Praetheow). Forget the pizza delivery guy unless his Honda Dream has had floats installed.....
September 30, 200520 yr Pizza Hut, KFC, Burger King, Subways, etc? Freaking pathetic if you ask me. Why are you folks even bothering to live in Thailand?
September 30, 200520 yr If you're looking for something besides farang fastfood, S&P delivers (Thai, Japanes, farang): http://www.sandponline.com/info/sandpdelivery.php tel 0 5335 7777
November 5, 200619 yr Pizza Hut, KFC, Burger King, Subways, etc? Freaking pathetic if you ask me. Why are you folks even bothering to live in Thailand? Chan hen duay (I agree). That's not food, it's heart attacks on two wheels. And it supports MNC's instead of local business people (apart from those unfortunate enough to have to work for rip-off wages at paper-hat jobs).

November 5, 200619 yr Pizza Hut, KFC, Burger King, Subways, etc? Freaking pathetic if you ask me. Why are you folks even bothering to live in Thailand? Are we to assume that you never ate Thai, Chinese, Mexican or any other "foreign food" in your country? Altho I have to admit that Burger King and KFC are about as close to American "cultural cuisine" as you can get, eh?
November 5, 200619 yr This is good information. I love Thai and farang food. One of the perks for living in Chiang Mai is these farang restaurants are here. Sometimes it's nice to order out every now and then. I think if more Thai restaurants had Thai menus I would order out from there too. Perhaps all this info should be pinned at the top of the Chiang Mai forum.

All of the local fast food, except for Pizza Hut, are owned by Thai companies... Not according to http://research.mulliscapital.com/products/reports which claims that YUM International (a US listed parent company) directly owns 270 KFC's and Pizza Hut outlets in Thailand. 90% of KFC's in Thailand are owned by YUM and the Central Hotel & Resorts group. According to the same report, Mc Donalds was originally owned by a Thai franchisee but is NOW owned and directed by its US parent company.
November 5, 200619 yr I've ordered Delivery from hel_l's Kitchen (ribs). They have some kind of agreement with the restaurant next to them (Naples Pizzeria). Food is good at both places.
November 5, 200619 yr I second hel_l s Kitchen - good food and a really nice couple running it. They deserve support. Delivery number is 053-232195
November 5, 200619 yr Author Pizza Hut, KFC, Burger King, Subways, etc? Freaking pathetic if you ask me. Why are you folks even bothering to live in Thailand? You know Johpa, when I didnt live in Thailand, I also could not understand how these companies could even exist considering how cheap, plentiful and good the local Thai food scene is. But when you have had Thai and Muang food for almost every single meal over 5 years, you sometimes want to intersperse it with something else - not for the quality, but for the sake of variety. Nobody has mentioned MAX Delivery Service yet - they pick up from several restaurants and deliver to your home by motorcycle. You have to buy for at least 200 baht a go, and the delivery price is 35 baht. But you can choose food from all over town. 053 - 225 025 The menu is a big wad of A4's stapled together - lots of restaurants are included. They dont have an English language menu though, and I am not sure about their ability to take orders in English - so you'll most likely need a Thai to help with the ordering.
November 5, 200619 yr Apart from Pizza Company and Burger King, what restaurants or fast food outlets offer home delivery in Chiang Mai? Pizza Hut Pizza Company MacDonalds KFC Burger King Kitamond - Japanese food Subway and for the very best in BBQ ribs, hel_l's Kitchen. Five stars for them. Expensive, but worth it! The Fly Fisherman

What word should we use for someone who resurrects a year old thread? My original caustic comment should only be read within the context of the preceeding comments at the time. I have no problems eating western food on occasion when in-country. I would rather go to the Stube for western food than to a fast food estabishment, but I have taken the kids to McDonalds and other such outlets when in town at the shopping malls.
November 6, 200619 yr Would seem that there could be a biz opportunit here for someone wanting to start a "Food By Phone" operation like there is in Bangkok. I am sure there would be enough customers in CM
