Paul Poole workshops to resume

PHUKET: -- Despite political uncertainty in many parts of the country, sponsorship specialists Paul Poole (South East Asia) Co Ltd have decided to resume their popular training workshops following a two-year hiatus.

Paul Poole explained that resuming the workshops, to be held at The Metropolitan Hotel in Bangkok, is the result of what he termed “surprising popular demand”.

“We plan on implementing these from September 21-24, and it is our intention to bring over from the UK our industry experts as guest speakers, all of whom are business leaders in their fields and include Intellectual Property specialists, sponsorship lawyers, sports and arts marketing specialists and sponsors,” Poole told the Gazette.

The workshops – two for event companies and rights holders, and two for brands and businesses – are targeted at middle to senior management.

Cost is 37,500 baht per delegate, including VAT, breakfast, lunch, two coffee breaks and evening drinks, as well as workshop materials and post-workshop support (on- and offline) in both English and Thai.

Industry expert guest speakers include Bangkok-based Richard Haigh, former President of Jaguar Land Rover-Asia Pacific and currently a consultant to the auto industry across the region, along with intellectual property rights expert Lubna Gem Arielle from the UK.

Poole will be the lead coach in the workshops, alongside UK-based Nigel Jones, Managing Director of The Purple Tangerine Ltd, the UK partner agency for Paul Poole (South East Asia) Co Ltd.

To maximize learning potential, a limit of 30 delegates per workshop has been set, making 120 delegates in total for the series, with a minimum of 20 delegates per workshop.

A 20-percent discount is being offered to members of the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand and to British Council Alumni.
