Good News For Sisaket Foreigners

Featured Replies

Speaking to a friend from Sisaket Imm office in Chong Sangam today, I was told that another office will open in Sisaket town, on the road behind the police station, on June 14. The office will open Mondays and Fridays and offer the "full service" that they now offer in Chang Sangam, i.e. including visa extensions, re-entry permits, etc.

The even better news is that you will now be able to combine your visa extn with lunch at Franks' "Living in the Past" bar, just round the corner near the Mosque!

Roughly the same distance from Ubon as Phiboon is.

Wonder if Surin Farangs can use it. Its nearer than Korat?

Which one immigration the bar or the mosque? :)

Any - they are not mutually exclusive - all are welcome in our multicultural tolerant town!

oh - better add that I reckon Surin residents have to still go to Korat - but maybe worth checking as Sisaket report to Korat

Mosque

Not needed until now and intend to keep it that way.

hi guys forgive me for sounding a bit thick here, maybe it's the time of day or the effects of last nights leo.I have my usual one year non"O" visa that i got in england, now for my 90 day extension i usually head for Chong chom, as it is the closest place for me.What i would like to know is, can i do my extension at this new office in Sisaket, or do i still have to leave the country.Again my apologies for being thick. :)

Hi hellyes2002

it sounds highly likely as the Op said 'Full service.'

That is with the proviso that you meet the criteria for a retirement/spouse/depandant/business extention to a visa.

Visa Section above is a very good help for info BTW.

It is....as the crow flies.

Hey Guys, maybe you can help me. I need to do a visa run by the 12th of June. I notice you said that the new office opens 14th.

I am going on a week road trip, renting a car and driving around isaan.

I was looking at the temples near Si Sa Ket and noticed there is a border crossing Chong Sa Nga I think. If I make it to Si Sa Ket, where can I get a stamp-out and then come back in. I don't need a new visa, I have a 1 year. I just need the stamp in and out.

If I can not get a stamp-out of the country there, where do you guys recommend.

Any help would be really appreciated,

Thanks
