Have you ever had a dream, Lao or anybody else, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

Secretive Bilderberg Club ready for protests

Splash! Could that be the sound of Lord Mandelson hitting one of the Dolce hotel’s four pools? Or Robert Zoellick of the World Bank? Paul Volcker of the US Economic Recovery Advisory Board? Or merely the euro taking another dive?

That is the thing about the Bilderberg group’s top secret meetings: you never know quite what is going on behind the police checkpoints.

Across the world, secretaries to the rich and the powerful have blocked out the next three days in their bosses’ calendars for their annual gathering, this time at the Dolce in Sitges, one of Spain’s most exclusive resorts.

Normally, every minute of their working lives is accounted for but, each year, a couple of hundred of the world’s financial elite and the more business-friendly members of the political class disappear from view; supposedly to save the planet from the dangers of parochialism, the nationalist genie.

It is all terribly confidential — breathe a word about it and you’re out of the club — but the Bilderberg watcher Daniel Estulin claims to have a copy of the agenda. The big question this time around is whether the euro will survive. “They are afraid that the countries in trouble will leave and the euro will fall apart,” said Mr Estulin. “The biggest nightmare is if EU members return to nationally orientated policies.”

That would certainly explain why the keynote address is being given by José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, the Spanish Prime Minister. The Piigs — Portugal, the Republic of Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain — are of concern to the Bilderbergers. After all, the club was set up in 1954 by a Polish exile, Joseph Retinger, to create a European bulwark against the spread of communism. It provided the germ of the European idea; Franco-German reconciliation, the entry of West Germany into Nato, the Maastricht treaty — all were cooked up in annual fireside chats.

Now, according to Mr Estulin’s information, the Bilderbergers are nervous that the erosion of the euro could nudge the world back into recession while public services cuts could trigger unrest and radicalise the political climate.

He does not give me all the details, but gives an overall picture of "The Plan".

He also warned me not to write any detail in words as "They" scan every words posted on the net.

Alex, while we disagree on a lot, I'm genuinely under the impression that you are a nice guy and all but I take no comfort knowing that the rich, powerful and influential of the world have friends who believe the WTC was brought down by nukes.

Anyway let me tell a little story on what I got to know when spending a day with one of the guys that attended (he is again at this years meeting).

During my time I worked for this MN, many times when new managers were hired they would be sent to hook up with me for a day or more. Apparently I was good in what I was hired for and having worked in about 63 countries all over the world I was very well informed about how the company and it's people were doing in several parts of the globe, what strategies worked and which not.

So one day I was informed the new CEO was scheduled to spend a day with me. I knew about him and how he was maneuvered into this position so I was really looking forward to it.

I studied a bit more on him to make sure I was prepared well. So on the day he was scheduled to meet me he showed up sharply on time and after the initial introduction I started to explain to him how this company was trying to achieve what was stated in their mission statement.

I prepared a power point and swiftly went through the slides explaining some details. During my presentation he asked many questions and I noticed he was a smart cookie and fast thinker.

Lunch was scheduled at 12:30 so we headed to the restaurant and had lunch. During lunch he was asking me more questions but instead of company related he now was interested in my personal views on all kind of matters.

(This is a common strategy used performing psychoanalysis).

So I gave him the answers he wanted to hear and liked. (This guy is a corporate psychopath).

So when lunch finished and we were walking back to my office he told me he was really impressed and wanted to know a few more details.

So after lunch we were back in my room and he kept on asking and I gave him the answers.

Around 16:00 we were about to finish his introduction when I asked him if I could ask some questions to him.

He said: "Alex you have given me a great day and I learned a lot, just ask me anything"

So I told him I was aware how he got this position and explained to him what I knew and that I was interested what is discussed during those BB meetings that he attended.

He looked very surprised after I told him what I knew and asked me where I got this info.

I told him that now was my time to ask questions as he promised.

So he answered my questions and told me that if I had any more I could contact him.

So about once per two months, I have a call with this guy and we exchange information.

Believe it or not, it is up to you.

Thanks for you're post. I agree, for most part it is up to me, each of us hold our own destiny's in our tiny little hands. I NOW chose the way things roll for me, its a refreshing way as opposed to the other path I rode along previously.
