The Ratchasima Thonburi and St Mary's are both top notch private hospitals.

Have used both for various things.....

Our baby was born at the Thonburi and the pre and post natal care is fantastic.

The dentist at St Mary's is better in my opinion.

Both are very cheap compared to the UK and judgiing by the number of Thais using them are probably not considered expensive in Thai terms.

Have no personal experience of Government hospitals but they are many and varied.

Hope this helps. :o

Thanks dereklev, for the info, and sorry Totster, I should have put Nakhonratchasima , any one else used a hospital in this area ....?

Thanks ..... Mumbo

GF's family uses Ratchasima Thonburi. GF spent the night there a couple of weeks ago due to abdominal pains. I was highly impressed with the care, the cleanliness, the facilities and the price. Plus, we never had to wait for anything. Private room was 1600 baht. Entire bill for emergency room, admission, drugs, treatment, etc., was only 2K baht. Plus, this is a Blue Cross hospital. Since I'm insured by Blue Cross I'll use it if I ever have the need.

You're welcome.

I think you will get a better response if you re-post in the Isaan Forum.

All the locals read that avidly. :D

Maharat Hospital is a good government hospital.
