    Another Lace Monitor looking for a feed near the house (you can see the tongue testing the air). I don't mind them close by as they keep the snakes away; and there are some nasty snakes around here.

    Looks like Little heron Butorides striatus

    and the Plover above is most likely Greater Sand Plover Charadrius leschenaultii
