June 12, 201015 yr Okay, the other day someone here at Bedlam spoke about this & I thought it could make a funny thread. It seems as if there is just about a thread or subsection within thaivisa for every minority group on the planet. Theres the ladies forum, gay forum, photographers forum, bikes, boats, this town, that town, dorks and geeks, techno heads and just about everything else you can think of. (Great Forum hey). Anyway, as I sated before it has been noticed that there wasnt a particular thread for Hetro Men/Grumpy old men. We need a thread where we can just come to be men. No-one is descriminated against, everyone is free to join in but it should be noted that this is a thread where men can just come in, pick up a stool, drop their guts, open a beer and just chew the phat with other men discussing 'Secret Mens Business' . We don't need to be reminded that normal forum rules and regs apply. Anyway, I'll start. Im thinking about going back to Oz later in the year for the Bathurst Races. Its been a few years since I took time out to sit around down there, get an eyefull and enjoy the Australian V8's thrashing it out at Mount Panorama.

June 12, 201015 yr Never heard the the Bathurst Races - Looks very interesting... In the UK we have the Goodwood Festival of speed, I might just manipulate the timing of my trip home this year to coincide, I might just have to pay less attention to the cars and more to the hotties this year. ....

I'm surprised. Bathurst is well known on the international stage, get a few overseas drivers coming over. Theres also a 12 hour race. The moose was wandering around the wooden bison and eventually just mounted it. The photographer was in the right place at the right time.

Truble was OZ cars were thrashed by "Godzillas". japanese cars. Ockor pshyche was floundering, so the rules like in footy, were changed . All cars had to be OZ V8s. Now it is Ford v Holden, so boring.

Now it is Ford v Holden, so boring. Ah, the truth will out, as it was said in Shakspearian days. It doesn't really matter what makes of vehicles they are providing they are all competitive. We used to have a race track near where I lived when I was a young man and it was built for people who drove their sports cars to work... and raced on the weekend. Dad and I had a series of Austin Healys that we raced occasionally. Then, the rich blokes started having their cars specially tuned and set up for racing. They changed tires depending on the weather. It changed enough so we were no longer competitive. My old Healy 3000 But it's now almost 2AM and time for me to go to....
