Sorry about being off topic for a moment but could someone please advise if it is better (read cheaper) to do a TESOL/TEFL course in Australia or Thailand? I believe it costs about $1800 for a course here in Oz.

If you do it in Aus, it will gain more recognition outside of Thailand than if you do one inside Thailand. So far that reason, I'd do it in Aus mate.
