PHUKET CITY: -- The Phuket Chapter of the Thai Red Cross Society has arranged for its mobile unit to accept blood donations at the following places and times in Phuket in July, starting at Tesco Lotus this afternoon.

July 6 (noon to 7pm): Tesco Lotus Phuket, bypass road, Rassada

July 8 (9am to 3pm): Phuket Wittayalai School, Thepkrasattri Rd, Phuket Town

July 13 (11am to 4 pm): Phuket FantaSea, Kamala

July 17 (10am to 3pm): Royal Palm Beach Front Hotel, Beach road, Patong

July 18 (9am to noon): Chalermprakiat School, Saphan Hin, Phuket Town

July 19 (noon to 7pm): Tesco Lotus Phuket, bypass road, Rassada

July 20 (10am to 3pm): Laguna Beach Resort, Cherng Talay

July 22 (9am to 3pm): Satree Phuket School, Damrong Rd, Phuket Town

July 30 (noon to 7pm): Phuket International Airport, Mai Khao

July 31 (10am to 4pm): HomeWorks Supercenter, Wichit

Supplies collected will be used to boosts stocks at the Andaman Region Office of the National Blood Bank on Rattanakosin 200 Pi Rd, near the Land Transport Office at Saphan Hin.

People seeking to donate blood may also visit the blood bank at the following days and times:

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 8:30am to 4:30pm

Tuesdays, Thursdays: 8:30am to 8pm

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: 9am to 3pm

The blood bank at Vachira Phuket Hospital on Yaowarat Rd in Phuket Town also accepts donations Mondays to Fridays from 8:30am to 8pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 3pm.
