Anyone Else Seen The Tat Tv Promotion?

Featured Replies

Presents Thailand as a place for really rich farangs to come and stay in really expensive resorts, fawned over by smiling sycophantic Thai minions.

The beach places they stay in are the sort that the Bangkok greedies have built, encroaching all the really nice beaches in Thailand, with their massage salas and horrible horizon pools.

Even Tuk Tuk drivers are smiling and acting as tour guides ( presumably speaking perfect English ), rather than conning them to a jewellery store.

It's not even truthfull, as it shows someone receiving a massage OUTSIDE the massage school in Wat Po.

And everything is SO CLEAN and TIDY and just SO BEAUTIFUL! I wonder if they modified the pictures or actually cleaned the places first?

I didn't get to see if they presented Pattaya, but I'd be interested to see what it looks like after their whitewash!

IMO, anyone coming to LOS based on that promotion should be able to sue TAT for false advertising!

Whatever, they sure aren't trying to attract anyone on an average income, and definitely no bagpackers!

I don't know whether to laugh, cry or vomit.
