Pilipino Tourist caught up in Jomtien Beach necklace snatch

PATTAYA: -- Police Colonel Nantawoot, the Pattaya Police Chief was joined by other officers and Police Volunteers as they attempted to catch a suspected necklace thief who had, moments earlier, snatched a gold necklace from around the neck of a Pilipino Tourist. On Thursday afternoon, reports came in of the theft which occurred on Jomtien Beach Road. A description of the suspect was circulated amongst officers who gave chase to the suspect and eventually caught up with him on the Central Pattaya Road, in front of the Bank of Ayudhya. He was in possession of the necklace which he discarded during the chase.

Well done to the BiB :) ....but is it just me having that strange feeling about this story?....a colonel chasing up a necklace thief? i know there are at least 1000 generals in this country but still ....:D

The guy would only target wifes of foreigners or female tourists. And all the people here on the board claim Thais not to be racist but all of us farangs are. :realangry:

Only targets women. A coward of the worst type. Also, he has a criminal record. He deserves some significant time in the Monkey House.
