PATTAYA: -- An Iranian national was brutally assaulted and robbed by three fellow compatriots in South Pattaya on Friday morning. The victim suffered a severe knife wound to the head in the attack.

Pattaya, the 23rd of July 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 3:30am on Friday, Lieutenant Colonel Chatchai Srisuwan (Pattaya Police Investigator) was notified of an armed assault on a foreigner behind the Tony’s Pub in South Pattaya. A team of officers under the command of Lt. Col. Klitsakorn Thongin (Pattaya Police Investigator) were dispatched to the incident to investigate.
