Hi

My Gf put her Honda Civic up for sale, she wanted 695.000 for the car, 2008 1,8 auto, i told her it was better to sell the car private she would get more money and bla bla bla, then yesterday she call me and told me she was with a dealer now and had sold the car for 660.000 Not a bad price at all when you think about it, the dealer also need to make money, i would never have thought she would get that kind of money from a dealer. But now i know not to tell her anything about selling cars

Did you see the check/cash for 660k ? You know how Thai's love to lose face.

Do you have any reason why she should not tell me the truth??

How did she "know" it was worth 695k and not perhaps 750k ?

Without testing the private market there is no way to compare whether she got the full price or not. I would have thought a dealer would not offer the best price as IMHO they tend to offer quite low prices, though YMMV.

Some dealers have customes waiting, for lets say 2008 Civic. Customer inspect the car, agree on perhaps 710k, dealer buys for 660k and everyone is happy. Happend with my 2003 CRV in 2004.
