Viv Stanshall and Keith Moon were a tailor's nightmare,

First Viv went in to a tailor's shop and expressed his delight with a particular pair of trousers, eagerly offering to buy them. In walked Keith Moon feigning interest in the same pair,  After arguing fiercely about the purchase, the two finally settled their differences by demanding a pair of scissors from the tailor and cutting the trousers in two.

The tailor was still in shock when in walked a hired one legged man who hopped up to the counter and gleefully picking up one trouser leg, exclaimed it was just what he was looking for.
