I've had a Big C card for a while and always hand it over to the check-out chick but am not sure of the benefits.

My wife gets free phone credit with Big C purchases but I don't know if it's the same card or not.

Just checked with the wife. She says there are NO benefits that she knows of.

Of course, you always take your receipt to customer service, let them check it over and they will hand you any freebies associated with that receipt, ie. giveaways from Nestle if they are having a promo on Red Cup coffee, etc, etc.. Or, if you spend enough, they give you a coupon. Last time, we spent about 3,500 baht and got a coupon for 5 baht. WOW!! Anyway, she says they will do the same thing for anyone, whether they have a card or not.

You are helping the Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited track your spending habits, and I'm sure they appreciate your cooperation.

wait till Central open their doors opposit across the road, i bet half their patrons traffic will drop...i hope Oishi opens a japaness restaurant outlet there...and Sizzler...and Burger King...and....

I have often wondered the same thing about my Tops card.

No sure about BigC. Tops card give you money back vouchers, quarterly I think.
