'Amanda Knox Is Innocent': Former Fbi Agent Tells U.S. Tv That Student Could Not Have Killed Meredith Kercher

Featured Replies

Amanda Knox is innocent of the brutal sex murder of a British university student, a former FBI investigator said yesterday.

Steve Moore, who spent 25 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, said the evidence in the case was ‘flawed and manipulated’ and may have been planted.

Knox, 23, was sentenced to 26 years in prison last December for the killing of Meredith Kercher, 21, who was found semi-naked and with her throat cut in her bedroom of the house they shared.

Mr Moore said: ‘The evidence doesn’t just say she didn’t do it; the evidence proved that she couldn’t have done it.

‘The evidence that was presented in trial was flawed, it was manipulated. Some people think some of it was actually planted.’

Miss Kercher was murdered in the Italian hilltop town of Perugia in November 2007.

Besides Knox, her then boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 25, was convicted of murder and sexual assault and given 25 years in jail, while Ivory Coast drifter Rudy Guede, 23, was initially sentenced to 30 years but this was reduced on appeal to 16 years.

Who would have planted it and why? Some kind of payback for those CIA agents Italy wanted to prosecute but couldn't?

I have followed the AMANDA KNOX case from the beginning and I strongyl believe that she and her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito are absolutely innocent and NOT guilty of the murder on the poor English girl, Meredith Kercher.

Without going into detail why I believe so it's the stunning and shameful fact that the Italian head prosecutor, Guiliano Mignini, was a prosecutor in this murdercase in the first place since he had been involved in a enormous scandal in Florence, Italy, previously.

He needed a "succes" to take the attention away from his involvement in that scandal and took his chance to prosecute Amanda and Rafaele.

It is even more frustrating to learn that AFTER both were convicted for the murder (next to the other convict Rudy Guede, who escaped to Germany right after the murder) this Prosecutor Guiliano Mignini was sentenced into prison himself for 16 months for the case I mentioned earlier (16 months instead 10 (!) demanded by the prosecutor against Mignini). A case called: The Monster of Florence* where 16 murders were committed.

I really hope that the trial will be re-acted and that both Amanda and Rafaelle will be freed.

It is one of the greatest scandals in Italians' Justice history...and they have many. <_<
