FLIGHT LANDS AT 7-10, HAVE TO CATCH TRAIN AT 9-20 FROM HUA LAMPHONG STATION TO HUA HIN, WILL I MAKE IT///////////////////////////////////??????????????????

You probably will make it in time, as most of the trains leave an hour late anyway, there will always be a next one....

After arriving in Thailand forget about being on time or things that should happen at a certain time, because they won`t.

no sweat - if you really won't make it: Re-direct the taxi straight to HuaHin, a bit more costly (approx. thb 2000) but no toil & trouble - this would have been my recommendation anyway would you have asked how to get to HH without major stress

Take a taxi to Bang Sue railway station, will save 30 minutes on the train, all Southbound trains stop at Bang Sue and take 30 minutes to get there from Hua Lamphong.

above mentioned solution to hire the taxi to HH might be good deal.

Agree that IF you really want to take the train then going to Bang Sue via the expressway will be quicker and easier.

There are also other options which were discussed on the exact same issue,

It pays to peruse the threads a little before starting a new one.
