it appears that an apology or retract of the ''sleeping'' statement could help also ;)

I see this thread awoke FarangCravings from a deep sleep.

Exactly, what is there to "apologize" for?

Exactly, what is there to "apologize" for?

bull's eye! no apologies required when the Greatest Nation on Earth™ and its associated 51st state rape whatever international law and/or human rights are concerned, kill a few hundred thousand by invading foreign countries, the invasions based on blatant lies (the 1.5 million dead in Viet Nam not considered), but keep on whining for years when they take a comparatively small hit.

Your post has nothing to do with my question or the post that it was referring to. You might try reading the thread before commenting on it. :cheesy:

...and exactly why?

A punctuation lesson might help more in this case.

Indeed the punctuation was not perfect, but if you had some comprehension of what had gone on and had been said prior, you could have understood the intent and made allowances.

I realised Farang Craving's intent immediately....it was fairly obvious.

I dare say that nobody here has consistantly perfect spelling, grammar, and punctuation, not even the spelling police that revert to picking on spelling errors in de facto ad hominem arguments whenever they are bereft of actual reasoned arguments....(which is often ;) )

A somewhat simmilar scenario here; pick on the spelling/grammar/punctuation because you have nothing else to retort. I have never seen anybody point out Maccaroni Man's CONSISTANT punctuation errors....and why should we? We all gather his intent, no matter how trying it may be sometimes to read his lack of capitilisation and punctuation.

Lets all recallforum netiquette.

And either have a normal discussion about the topic at hand or go play golf or something. But enough with the tit for tat playground behavior.

I did not understand it either. It was very difficult to decipher as written.

Oh dear..... ok, you didn't either. You couldn't have had much comprehemsion of events and words that had gone on prior.

No matter....I'm sure it's all clear now.

I promise to TAKE EXTRA care with my punctuation so those a little challenged can understand my posts clearly and I apologize to those that could not understand my post correctly.

Job done lets move on :D

Congratulations, I do believe you are the first to do so.

Jewish Boat to Gaza sets sail from Cyprus

At crisis point in peace talks, Jews, Israelis call to lift the siege on Gaza, end the occupation.

A boat carrying aid for Gaza's population and organized by Jewish groups worldwide has set sail from Cyprus today at 13:32 local time

The boat, Irene, is sailing under a British flag and is carrying ten passengers and crew, including Jews from the US, the UK, Germany and Israel as well as an Israeli journalist.

The boat's cargo includes symbolic aid in the form of children's toys and musical instruments, textbooks, fishing nets for Gaza's fishing communities and prosthetic limbs for orthopaedic medical care in Gaza's hospitals.

The receiving organization in Gaza is The Palestinian International Campaign to end the siege on Gaza, directed by Dr. Eyad Sarraj and Amjad Shawa, Director of PNGO

The boat will attempt to reach the coast of Gaza and unload its aid cargo in a nonviolent, symbolic act of solidarity and protest – and call for the siege to be lifted to enable free passage of goods and people to and from the Gaza Strip.

The boat will fly multicolored peace flags carrying the names of dozens of Jews who have expressed their support for this action, as a symbol of the widespread support for the boat by Jews worldwide.

Speaking from London, a member of the organizing group, Richard Kuper of Jews for Justice for Palestinians, said today that the Jewish Boat to Gaza is a symbolic act of protest against the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and the siege of Gaza, and a message of solidarity to Palestinians and Israelis who seek peace and justice.

'Israeli government policies are not supported by all Jews,' said Kuper. 'We call on all governments and people around the world to speak and act against the occupation and the siege.'

Regarding the threat of interception by the Israeli navy, Kuper said 'This is a nonviolent action. We aim to reach Gaza, but our activists will not engage in any physical confrontation and will therefore not present the Israelis with any reason or excuse to use physical force or assault them.'

Passenger Reuven Moskovitz, 82, said that his life's mission has been to turn foes into friends. "We are two peoples, but we have one future", he said.

Thumbs up agreed ;)

Sadly far too many thin skinned always jump down the throats of any reports pointing out the unjust acts. The thin skinned are always trying to make any claims against Israel's unjust actions out to be anti Semite.

Calls for action against this continued form of Israeli terrorism should not automatically be misconstrued as antisemitism.

It stands on its own & is easy for all but the blind to judge by Israels actions.

It is only the thin skinned apologist that try to make it out to be a religious slur rather than the call for justice that it actually is.

Wow, that's a page turner. They actually got 'DOZENS' of Jews expressing support.

That will surely intimidate the 'MILLIONS' of Jews that did not express support. :whistling:

chuckd, I find your blatant baiting and inflammatory posts often contribute very little to real dialogue.

I would hope that you can drop the rhetoric and find the ability to carry on a debate and dialogue in a way that isn't designed to be inflammatory. thanks

I questioned a reference that claims "dozens" of Jews are against the blockade in Gaza, when there are "Millions" of Jews that support it. The statement in the link is ridiculous and deserved to be questioned by any thinking person.

Thank you for your input. I have taken what I consider to be appropriate action in response.

Ian earlier post in a different topic about this I have clearly shown and explained the applicable laws, rules and resolutions that show this pirate attack was clearly unlawful.

I pointed out that there is nothing illegal about a military blockade against a hostile entity and provided plenty of legal evidence to back it up. The "pirates" were the activists on the Hamas Flotilla. "The program also concluded that the Israeli commandos encountered a violent, premeditated attack by a hardcore group of Turkish IHH members".

Your legal evidence was/is incomplete.

Please reconsider before I once again will post step by step the reasons why what was done was illegal and could actually be considered a crime of war by those IDF (brainwashed) kids

that were just following, orders?
