Yes, another dog thread.

My neighbour's St Bernard just died at a ripe old age and he wants another one.

He's heard of a place near Mai Chan that breeds St Bs and Golden Retrievers.

Anyone know of this kennel?

OOPS Sorry ,

It was the Golden Labrador Breeder in Mae Chan ,I was interested in ,not the St Bernards in Chiang Mai

(I need stronger glasses)

Yep, I hear they make good guide dogs.

The best Golden Retrievers I have seen are at Lucky Kennel in Mae Chan. It is located very near Parabola but on the other side of the highway. I copied this number off the wall at their kennel 0801243511. They are not cheap but looked pretty good to me.

You are very welcome. If you get one, please post a picture. :)

I know this might seem obvious but what do you need in Thailand to buy a dog...?

Do they give you degree papers etc and also do they sometimes lie on them...? I was thinking of getting a dog, perhaps a tame pitbullas there seems to be a few breeders up here

Remember, you are in Thailand not the West, so just buy what you like. Unless you are showing dogs or breeding for a certain clientele, paperwork is a nonissue. Therefore all you need is money. I would suggest visiting the kennel before you buy, if at all possible, however.

There is a guy who sells them every Sunday in a park near me, thing is Im pretty sure he sells them for fighting as the way he sells them is by showing the buyer how it reacts to another one nose to nose, this seems quiet a common way to test the personality of a pit, not really interested in that.
