5 Volunteer Drug Suppression Officers wanted for murder by Pattaya Police

PATTAYA: -- For months we have been reporting on the Royal Thai Navy Narcotics Unit who have been arresting suspected drug dealers in Pattaya and Sattahip. It was revealed the drug operation, which led to a shootout, was in fact conducted by volunteers and no Navy Officers or government officials were present at the time.

In any case it is already strange, why the Navy (protecting Thailand borders), would be involved in the war against drugs.

All the overlapping duties among Army, Navy and Police are an important reason for all political difficulties.

Volunteers....RIP, the weakest in chain are always the least protected. :( but why they have guns? :o
