1. If you are on holiday you should live in town. Some 4 stars hotels very central were you can walk to most tourist shopping places are Holiday inn and Intercontinental.

2. There are a lot to see in Bangkok. I suggest you Google it since I don't know what you like.

Clubs in Bangkok is usually not about dancing. Everyone gets a table to stand by for the evening and buy alcohol by bottle and separate mixers instead of drinks. Unlike the western club scene there are not much interaction and mingling with others, one simply hangout with those people you arrived with. The club area RCA are quite OK. Many clubs on that street. Few foreigners there. A bottle and mixers usually are about 2,500 Baht in RCA. Note that there are dress code, no shorts or flip flop and such.

If you look for a cheaper and more laid back touristy feel I would say the backpacker street Khao san road. In Khao san road drinks are served in glas(around 80 Baht) or buckets(around 350 Baht). The whole street is about party, cheap booze, cheap food, cheap accommodation, cheap t shirts, sunglasses and other stuff that might appeal to tourists.

3. Massage places are like pubs in England; they are everywhere.

4. For kids wear I would recommend the touristy MBK shopping mall (very near the hotels I mentioned) or the weekend market. Electronics are not so cheap in Thailand as you might think. Electronics in US are actually cheaper, but if you want to shop around Panthip shopping mall might be of interest to a first time visitor.

Hi,

There are thousands of things to be recommended, which would take hours to type up here - and we dont know your preferences of things that you like to do and see. Why dont you stat by doing some homework yourself ? Use Google to search for things like "massage parlours bangkok" or 'electronics shopping bangkok' or 'Bangkok tours'. There's a good start.

You wont find any decent hotels near the airport and besides, all the things you will be doing will be in the city so why would you want to go back all the way to airport at night ? Go to Agoda.com and look up hotels in Bangkok.

When you have done your homework, you can come back here and ask for specific recommendations and detailed questions.

Cheers

Porn massage and kids wear?

What a strange mix.

Nothing strange about it unless he is here with his family. He could be a single dad. He may want to buy kid stuff for his nieses and nephews. Don't just jump into conclusion.

Still think it's strange, what conclusions was I jumping to?
