I was dropped off at Thonglor BTS last night, at about 23.15, there was an area of the sidewalk in the town-bound direction taped off and a number of police officers and about 10 armed soldiers, milling about.

Couldn't see anything obvious, anybody heard anything?

And more so of late. I think the underlying threat of red violence is 'thickening'.

These were not the regular one or two soldiers based at some stations, the police and soldiers were all over the place talking into radios, guarding a taped off area and making pedestrians walk in the road.

Nothing there this morning so probably a false alarm.
