Pregnant Woman Fights off Rape by Man Impersonating Police

PATTAYA: -- A pregnant woman has managed to fight off a man who is suspected to have been impersonating a police officer in Pattaya on Sunday. The attacker failed in his attempt to rape the young woman but stole her handbag before fleeing the scene.

Pattaya, the 17th of October 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 10:30pm on Sunday, Lieutenant Colonel Chatchai Srisuwan (Pattaya Police Investigator) was notified of an attempted rape and robbery conducted by a man thought to be impersonating a police officer in South Pattaya.
