Pattaya Beach Road re-surfacing work encounters problems

PATTAYA: Engineers working on the road re-surfacing at the southern-end of Pattaya Beach Road have encountered problems. Khun Ronagit, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, mindful of the fact that Pattaya is now entering the High Season Months inspected the work, close to the entrance to Walking Street on Tuesday Morning and was told that the original seven day deadline to complete this phase of the work will not be met.

Anyone who actually thought they would do it in 7 days must believe in Santa too...

What's the betting the electric boys turn up, take one look and say "Oh no, they're not our cables. Sorry mate more than our jobs worth to touch them, crikey there could be electrickery in them".

.....and what's the excuse for Thappraya road I wonder?

I've almost come off my bike twice driving over the fcking sandpit the <deleted> have made!

they've got traffic going both ways on 2nd road to avoid this construction. A real mess. But some work is going on near the intersection of Thappraya and Theprasit. Traffic was backed up from the traffic light all the way down Beach Road yesterday. Another mess. And they are still working on something on Thappraya. Some kinda center divider. An accident waiting to happen for sure.

I thought they would normally start this in the high season??? or maybe that is when the remedial work will be carried out!ha TIT
