A former beauty queen has sparked fury among parents at an Italian school who claims she is too attractive to be a teacher.

Ileana Tacconelli, 28, who has three degrees, has caused a storm after it emerged she was a former model and racy photographs and video footage of her were posted on the internet.

As a result, one set of angry parents withdrew their daughter from the Catholic School in Milan.

But others - particularly fathers of students at the prestigious San Carlo Catholic High School - and the headteacher have stood by Miss Tacconelli.

The row erupted after one mother complained to the headteacher Father Aldo Geranzani claiming she was 'too attractive and a distraction'.

Video of her acting in a comic sketch dressed in tight fitting hot pants and a bra then surfaced on the internet, as well as photographs of her posing in an American police uniform.

The former Miss Abruzzo - a beauty contest for a region of central Italy - was entered into the national contest but failed to win and went on to gain her teaching qualifications at university.

The story made the front page of Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's family-owned newspaper, complete with an editorial explaining that the footage of her was more slapstick than soft porn as had been claimed.

I had a teacher like her in first year university. I have to admit she WAS a distraction and I had day dreams about her. My desk was at the front of the room and I certainly didn't fall asleep in her classes. She would stand close enough to me that I could smell her perfume or body lotion.

I too had a teacher in the final years of high school who was every schoolboy's dream. She was 5 foot nothing and wore stilettos. If you weren't careful the first you'd know of her displeasure was the pressure of her stiletto heel on your foot. Almost never saw her coming.

Typically she wore jeans and a tied shirt revealing her midriff and no bra. I was fortunate enough to have her drive me to school for several months (she happened to drive past my bus stop and if the traffic allowed she'd pick me up). Certainly set tongues wagging when I was seen arriving with her.

Conversation on the way to school was quite memorable. A Monday morning for example:

Me: "Hi Miss, how are you today ?"

Miss L: "OK, I suppose, but I wish I'd worn a different top."

Me: "Really, why ? That one looks pretty good." (meaning sufficiently revealing to ensure she'd have the attention of at least all the boys and some of the girls in the class)

Miss L: "Oh, I went to a nudist beach on the weekend and my nipples got sun burnt. They're really sore and the shirt is not helping. I should have worn silk."

Me: "Maybe you shouldn't be going to a nudist beach." (naive school boy fumbling at conversation)

Miss L: "I always go there to keep up my tan."

10 years later I was at a dinner with my teacher wife and her colleagues. Seated at the table next to me (on purpose) was none other than Miss L who was now teaching in the same faculty at the same school as my wife. Miss L still looked as hot as ever.

Of course I had already told my wife all about the very hot English teacher I had in high school. My wife had long since made the connection with Miss L hence the dinner seating arrangement. I squirmed all night as the missus and Miss L took full advantage of the situation for a bit of fun at my expense.

It was worth it just to see Miss L again and relive some of those school boy fantasies of afternoon detention.

Sibeymai - I went to school during WWII and most of the masters were away at the front. Being an all-boys school, when WWII ended the masters came back and most of the women teachers left.

One stayed on, our singing teacher.

Another five foot nothing, high-heel wearing lady, French to boot.

Unfortunately she was around fifty and wore about three kilos of make-up, but thought she was still 'it'.

What puzzled me (aged seven) was that everyone called her 'Mister Geeze'. It was a year or two before I discovered it was Miss de Guise. Had not heard of transvastism at that time, but she was a likely candidate.
