Rugby

Featured Replies

Game this Saturday is delayed about 3 hours on 'the Australia network' so is there any channels available to watch it live (at approx 3.30pm Thai time).

Thank for any quick info....

My guess would be that the game will be live at Soi 8 Bar if you are in Bangkok

I think that's the only one. Sometimes there is a South African network covering Rugby, not only for the Boks. This is a bugger when you live up country. Curiously I can sometimes get French club rugby on our network. If you find another link, please let me know. Thanks.

The South African feed is no longer in Asia.

Get used to this form oz network, it is a licensing issue.

It is on "Super Sport 6"

Can't get it in Thailand at all.

Astro doesn't have SS6 only SS, SS2 & SS3.

If anyone finds a way, pls share !!!!

Wall Street, Sukhumwit Soi 33 has it on at 3.00pm.

I was in Soi 8 on sat for the game (terrific game BTW) , they were streaming internet coverage on to the TV and it was adequate at best. The odd drop out, picture a bit blocky...you can imagine.

In my general vicinity there were a lot of people complaining.

I guess we have to get used to it though as thats what its coming down to and at this point in time its almost certain that the next 4 weeks will be no different....

I was lucky enough to stumble across a video stream at the start of the game that was near faultless. On my 46" TV there was minimal pixelation and the sound was as clear as the real thing. Buffering was minimal too.

Sadly, this appears to be the only way to watch these games here. Why TrueSport don't pick up on these events is beyond me. They show local rugby games live from time to time so they clearly accept there's a market for rugby.

  • 2 weeks later...

Old news I know but yes it was live and free to view on the AS5 satellite courtesy of IP Links uplink services from the HK Stadium.
