New Car On Hp Thai Wife

Featured Replies

Thinking about buying a new car but I would prefer to use HP if possible

Anybody know if it could be purchased in her name on HP, with her house as guarantee

Cheers

Can do.

At least one of you will need proof of income, at a level good enough to qualify (i.e. salary/pension at least 3x the repayment) - collateral isn't necessary and makes no impact to your eligibility for car finance.

If neither of you have had Thai finance before (or have a poor credit rating) you'll need either a bigger down payment (25%-50%) and/or a Thai guarantor (again, someone with suitable income).

Sounds like we cant then. I was going to offer a 25% deposit but neither of us work and I dont yet get my pension

I was hoping the house could be use as security
